Tomsk region: 1 million euro for pure water

About 69 million rubles will be allocated in 2018 for the construction of six dozen local sewage treatment plants in the Tomsk region. The funds are allocated under the Clean Water program.

Water purification facilities will be installed in the settlements of the subject of the Russian Federation, which is home to 300 residents, and according to the head of the Department of Housing and Public Housing Supervision of the region Yuri Baev, this will provide clean drinking water to 28 thousand people. Last year, cleaning stations were built in 69 villages in the Tomsk region, after the introduction of which 50 thousand people were granted access to water.


The administration of the region plans to use the developments of Tomsk Polytechnic University. The cost of installation is a little more than 1 million rubles, and productivity - up to 36 cubic meters per day.

The installation includes mechanical cleaning, ozonation, coal filtration and UV disinfection.
